Diedren Deese, PharmD, BCGP
Dr. Diedren Deese obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2003 and then graduated in 2007 from Campbell University School of Pharmacy, now the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In 2017, she became a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist. Her work experience includes work in retail/outpatient pharmacy, ambulatory care, and currently long term care. She currently acts as a preceptor to pharmacy students as well as pharmacy residents.

Dr. Miller is an inpatient clinical pharmacist at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2013. She then completed her pharmacy education at Campbell University, graduating with a PharmD in 2017. After graduation, she completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at SRMC. Upon completion of her residency program, she began her clinical pharmacy job with the institution. Since beginning her position, she’s had the opportunity to co-precept both pharmacy students and residents. She enjoys being able to train and guide future pharmacists to help them achieve the most from their knowledge and hone their clinical skills.
Sylvia Saint-Amand, PharmD, MBA
Dr. Sylvia Saint-Amand received an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a dual PharmD/ MBA from Campbell University. Following a residency split between Kaiser Permanente and Southern Regional Area Health Education Center (SR-Ahec), Dr. Saint-Amand began a career in hospital pharmacy. She has worked in both inpatient hospital pharmacy and hospital-owned outpatient clinics. She currently serves as the pharmacy business manager and co-ordinates medication safety efforts. Dr. Saint-Amand has precepted pharmacy students from the University of North Carolina, Campbell University, Wingate University, University of Florida and Shenandoah University.
Kristen Womble-Smith, PharmD, BCCCP
Dr. Kristen Womble-Smith primarily practices in the Intensive Care Unit at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Dr. Womble-Smith received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University in 2014 and completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Practice at SRMC in 2015. She obtained Board Certification in Critical Care in 2017.
Dr. Womble-Smith precepts the critical care experience for both PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents. She serves on the Residency Advisory Committee, research project committee, and is a member of the Patient Care Council.
