Southeastern Health Pharmacy Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in Southeastern Health’s Pharmacy Residency Programs at Southeaster Regional Medical Center. Our goal is to provide an environment that will stimulate your professional growth and allow you to pursue your areas of interest. Our department is composed of approximately 65 employees including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and supportive staff. We offer many services including, but not limited to, preparation of IV admixtures, pharmacokinetic, anticoagulant, and parenteral nutrition therapy monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, transitions of care, emergency medicine, critical care, and neonatal specialty services. Patient safety is our top priority and we have invested in the latest technology to help achieve this. As an organization our vision is to be the health system of choice by advancing the health of our communities through partnerships, learning, and providing high quality and compassionate care. Pharmacists completing our program will become competent, independent practitioners showing leadership and a high level of maturity in their practice area.

Carolina Beach State Park:
Are you a sea life enthusiast and do you like to walk? Many people consider this to be one of the best beaches in North Carolina. This beach is about 10 miles long and full of sea creatures and plants, with an additional 5 miles worth of hiking trails for you to explore.
Wrightsville Beach:
As North Carolina’s most accessible beach, it’s easy to get to from Interstate 40, and easier to stay with an abundance of outdoor activities, miles of beach, family-friendly events, and full-service hotels and vacation rental options. Known for its many waterways and channels from the sound to the sea, this seaside town is the perfect place to practice all watersports. Cruise the water by kite-board, kayak or paddle board, tame the area’s world-class surf, reel in a prize-worthy fish at sea, or just sit back and enjoy the spectacular views of the sunrise over the ocean or sunset during an evening harbor cruise.
Kure Beach:
North Carolina’s small wonder. Located at the southern tip of Pleasure Island, near the Cape Fear River, Kure Beach is filled with a lot of what you're hoping to find on a vacation or getaway: beautiful, natural surroundings with vistas of the ocean and the river, many beachside cafes, an aquarium and ocean front park.

Do you like to skydive? Did you know that the world’s largest indoor skydiving center is called the ParacleteXP, and is located in Raeford, N.C. Lumberton is only 30 miles from Raeford.
